And when you have your new readers, you want to give them a recap (in the middle of the issue), but also really find a way to grab their attention and set out the tone of the book.

I love this book sometimes.

The first half of this issue was such a troll move.

I thought there had been another time skip and I took the scene with Alana and Prince Robot completely at face value.

Stuff like this is exactly why I've avoided this book. It's random humor, but for adults. No thanks.

It's hard to really care about Saga anymore I honestly find, especially after last issue where killed so many people (it already has Walking Dead's problem of it being hard to care about anyone) and went for the cheap shot of killing the unborn baby just cause this is super duper serious. At this point, any moment of trying to be shocking or having adult, edgy humor feels so tripe. There's nothing left but apathy for this crap.
