So he jumped back into his own remains and grew a new body, which he can control as if it *was* a klyntar symbiote. So he can heal himself instantly, turn off his pain receptors, etc etc. But since it's not made of goo, no shapechaning, I guess?
Not sure how lassoing someone with his intestines fits into all that, but I've been enjoying Ewing's run so I'm willing to let it slide.
Oh, sure, it's not a huge sticking point for me or anything. It's just one of the signature abilities of Spider-Man's "new" suit that was always a favorite of mine. Like one of those, "why would you want this if you could have someone's powers" deals, and I wasn't sure if it got phased out or what.
Does the Life Foundation have a new "deal" now? They were used rather often in Spider-Man and Venom stories. I don't know if "All symbiotes, all the time" is the new mission statement.
What's so hard to understand? Eddie Brock simultaneously died and didn't die in Limbo. When he died in Limbo he ended up in the center of the multiverse getting lessons from a giant talking hand who's one of his many future selves, so he used his King in Black powers to possess his own skeleton. When he didn't die in Limbo he took over a biker gang off-panel. Now Eddie Brock and Eddie Brock are fighting.
Giant Talking Hand (or Eventuality) is the now-inevitable end result of all of Eddie's timelines, regardless of what happens in them, including dying, being depowered and turning evil again. At least, according to him at any rate.
