Of course, Jim Starlin was so incensed by his pet character getting beaten in this and other comics that he purposefully wrote a story to explain away the defeats as being clones all along or something.

This feels like the kind of XTRRREEEME comicery that Bill Watterson was poking fun of that one time.

Yeah, the colorist made some...interesting choices. Like when Firelord is shielding the Designate from Thanos' BRAAAOOOWW and turns into a blonde in a blue unitard.

I wouldn't mind if everyone in Jurgens' run were revealed to have been clones. Not a fan.

Yeah, his run on Thor wasn't great. It all seemed like a rehash of older atories. Like the return of Malekoth, it was a re-do of the Casket of Ancient Winters from Simonson's run. I also didn't care for the Dark Gods or the Enchanters, or whatever they were called.
