I am surprised at how okay Spider-Man is with the fact the Punisher just melted a guy. Nowadays we would get Spidey incessantly angsting about how he couldn’t save Moses Magnum. Never mind the fact he was testing nerve gas on women and children.

Ah, the eternal problem with Punisher working with other less kill-centric heroes like Spider-Man... aka "Why don't they reflexively haul his ass off to prison for his many, MANY self-confessed murders?"

"Moses Magnum is dead, that's a certainty" sounds like the opening line to a particualry violent version of "A Christmas Carol"

And repeating "Moses Magnum is dead, that's a certainty" twice in three panels pretty much guarantees he's going to be back within six issues, doesn't it?

It's the retconniest retcon I think I've ever seen.

It would be much more believable, if the explanation was just a wizard brought him back to life.

Yeah, Spider-Man's a lot more pure in some ways today. But in other ways, he's a lot less so. Like, he seems to have either FORGOTTEN or not entirely GRASPED what the Punisher's whole deal is, here.

"Did he...did he make a criminal DIE HORRIBLY? On PURPOSE? What kind of person would DO that? Ugh, that's too awful to think about! Good thing I won't have to deal with 'antiheroes' like this ever again!"

(I guess you could read the ending as Peter being disturbed that the Punisher might've gotten PETER killed just then, or even himself, just to put one more criminal in the ground. But "knowing what would happen" kind of implies that Frank knew Spider-Man would leap the two of them to safety.)

I don't think you can use WAGNR as a sound effect if there isn't a helicopter with a mounted machine gun in the scene

im gonna ignore the part 3 caption and go with the more hilarious backstory of Spidey spending his down time getting thrown out of vehicles like the Archie Gang did Homer.
