GI Joe 17

Last time on GI Joe (deep breath) Cobra attacked the US Mint. They were repelled by the Joes, but in the action, Major Bludd tried to kill Destro on Cobra Commander's orders. Baroness was driving his vehicle and deliberately crashed to save her lover--she is now presumed dead. The Joes are in hot pursuit of the active Cobras: the Commander, Dr. Venom, and a heartbroken Destro.







This is all surprisingly perceptive for Cobra Commander, who Destro and Baroness have actually been trying to hide their relationship from. Maybe he should do a talk show, seeing as he is slightly less evil than Dr. Phil.

I may not know much about New Jersey (that's where Coney Island is, right?)
but I'm about 75% sure that HISS tanks are not street legal.

Comic book Cobra Commander's not stupid. He's actually a very good manipulator. Although I interpret his actions in that last panel as "Good, he bought my reasoning. I don't need to kill him, I can direct him against Major Bludd instead. He can still be of use to me."
