This was one of Magneto's most twisted triumphs. Not sure why he blames the X-Men for the whole "turned into a baby" thing though. Not these X-Men anyway.

Well, yeah...but shouldn't he be doing this to the X-Men that were involved instead of a bunch of strangers? Well, strangers plus Jean, Scott, and Hank.

Most likely. That's still lot of force being exerted through very small surface area, holding the whole thing in air by exerting magnetic force on the nails. They really knew how to build 'em sturdy back then, huh?

Exactly. For all that this might be Claremont’s kinkpile, you realize that this is what life is like for a lot of disabled people.
