Baron Blood flees with the sunrise. However, Cap and the Falsworths know that it is only a matter of time until he strikes again. They set a trap with the enfeebled Lord Falsworth as bait.

And so sadly ends this run, far too soon as Stern and Byrne had so many great ideas left only for a certain someone at Marvel to go "nah, folks don't want longer arcs like this."

Cue Byrne working with Claremont to craft multi-issue epics.

Remembering what happens to Kenneth later on, this is a sad read

That scene with the Baron trying to bite Cap is so silly. All the times they've fought, and BB never noticed that Cap's shirt is made of chainmail? He's like two inches away from his neck, and he can't SEE it? So dumb.

Otherwise, though, a classic story. Extreme nearsightedness aside, the Baron comes across as a truly scary and formidable threat. Love the "Hammer Horror" mood. Great characterization throughout.
