Ben tries out for Team America, I mean... the Thunderiders.

The team decide to let Ben join, much to the consternation of Wolf and Champ. Champ is another prospective new member of the team, but Wolf is just a jerk.

Later, Ben is attacked by the Marauder, seemingly out of nowhere.

All I can think is that those must be some impressive bikes to both hold Ben's weight and move with any kind of speed afterwards

And all I can think of is that old commercial for the Evel Knievel action figure—-where, if you keep watching to the end of its run, it topples over.

Well, Team America did start out life as a concept to replace the Evel Knievel line after he got in legal trouble so,..

I always loved these guys, they were such a wacky concept. Marvel was really firing on all cylinders with the toy tie-ins in the 80s.

Of course, Matt Stone and Trey Parker would bring the name “Team America” connotations that Ideal and its successors neither intended nor desired.
