The Phalanx-controlled Gamora and Drax have merged in to a Babel Spire, summoning a Technarch Siredam to Kvch.

Nova asks Tyro to use a fraction of his life spark to cure Gamora and Drax.

And how in a canon twist no one asked for and hasn't really seen any meaningful use, the Technarch are actually the pawns of the phalanx. For reasons.

And before that, Kvch was destroyed (somehow, by something, for some reason), and Magus was last seen running around on Earth pretending to be a corporate executive, and nobody seemed terribly concerned about any of this.

Weird plot developments all the way down, apparently.

(insert joke about Magus and average corporate executive comparative evil levels here for maximum effect)

Not sure the whole Technarch-Phalanx switcheroo even counts as a retcon, just Hickman being completely un-arsed.
