scans_dailyWith Cobra having taken over America, the Joes fall back on Ol' Reliable: having Snake Eyes raid the Silent Castle.
They're discovered by an Eel, but c'mon--he's an Eel, they're Snake Eyes and Scarlett.
*addressing my inner critic* It just sounds succinct and cool, their rallying point was probably somewhere nearby where they actually planned the mission, there'll be something soon enough that you can make fun of without being pedantic.
Storm Shadow is next to discover the Snake & Cake Connection and he gets in a surprising amount of hits considering he's being double-teamed by a ninja master and an honorary ninja.
Outreasoned by Dr. Mindbender. That's gotta hurt.
(so did they plan that the caravan would be brought to the castle without just being blown up and then, still without being blown up, one of the Cobras would remember that there'd been a security breach, which would divert the security already present long enough to give them an opening? Because that's one hell of a plan.)
And here I thought he went commando...

Did Zartan just have a stroke?
Meanwhile, Hawk has been breaking into the Pentagon, where there's a janitor's closet protected by blast doors that contains a hotline to the President. I'm not sure why that exists, but I don't think it's too much of a plot hole that the American military would spend a great deal of time and resources on something essentially useless. "What are you gonna do, cut our funding?"
