Even by Silver Age love interest standards, she seems to be a frikken magnet for these things.
Like how Dorcas tells Namor he can guess she's been captured, because apparently being captured or imperilled is just the default state of Dorma.
(Maybe this is one of the reasons no-one's ever bothered to resurrect her.
"She was the love of my life, aside from Sue Storm and Doctor Doom, but then I remember having to save her every other week and I think 'do I really want that hassle'.")
