I just watched Parts 1 and 2 on HBO/Max/whatever it's called these days last night. For the most part, I've enjoyed this version of the story. Lots of nice character cameos to appease the continuity addicts, some nods back to other animated stories, and of course callbacks to other DC animated properties from the old times.

Rolling established characters into the Harbinger and Pariah roles was a nice way to keep those roles while using existing elements, though I really didn't need that much screen time for Psycho-Pirate. Not when you have so many non-speaking cameos to play with... :)

I'm looking forward to watching Part 3 to see how they wrap it up, though naturally I grieve for the worlds which must die.

I haven't seen the movie (and I don't plan to), so I don't know if it's a good scene or not, but I'm pretty sure "Kevin Conroy's last performance as Batman" is going to be this films legacy regardless of how good it is.

I didn't hate it, i WISH they had combined supergirl's death from the comics in this... her dying defending Clark drove me to tears... this was... it was powerful... but not emotional....

It'd be funny if they accidentally stumbled into those ideas.

"Our new Superman movie contradicts our Legion movie. Better do an explainer movie. 'Zero Hour' sounds like a cool name."

Though it sounds like going forward they're sticking to standalone cartoons...which is what the "Tommowverse" was most of the time aside from some post-credits scenes; it never needed to be a shared universe in the first place.
