She's a little abrupt with Dani, but events in the next few issues do make this scene make a bit more sense in retrospect.

Personally, I consider the cat to be the best part of the issue. The women's faces lack expression, and the drama feels exaggerated. The cat, on the other hand, is behaving naturally and is rather beautifully executed.

Unless there's more than one stamped number (many manufactures stamp a second number underneath the grip or on the inside of the slide.) Or unless whoever filed it didn't go deep enough.

My memory's a little spotty, but here goes: Using the witchblade, Dani kills a guy that had been abusing her friend/potential love interest. She freaks out and calls Sara for help, leading to the scene posted above.
