The three former New Mutants try desperately to destroy the Phalanx Babel Spire.

I feel like I should have posted some of the scenes with Forge, but most of us only care about the ex-New Mutants, right?

At least it wasn’t a bullet in the back this time.

Of course, Douglock isn't really dead.

Again, please don't give long expositionary dialogue about how the Phalanx can't convert mutants to the gosh darned Phalanx converted mutant!

And if you're going to give Sam a rather touching lament about losing Doug, do try to make sure the speech bubble is pointing at Sam, not Douglock.

But hey, this story got us Douglock 2.0, who was great fun, so I'll let it slide.

And it's always nice to see that even being dead, and then sort-of assimilated by a cosmic scale technorganic menace like the Phalanx couldn't damp down Doug Ramsey's floofy hair!
