But if she doesn't fulfill her directive here (or fail while trying), what happens now?

And how old is she supposed to be? Maybe it's just her more complex speech patterns, but the "wealwy sowwy" style of talk just feels really weird coming out of her.

At this point she was probably weeks, if not days, old. How old she was built to pretend to be though... I always saw her as pre-schooler. Needing to stand on top of something to reach the height to play billiards and such.

Also Forge was involved when it came to reaching a more permanent solution for the explodey problem. Though I can't recall whether he had time to actually do anything before she lost her body. The new one was most likely built without the explosives.
