I believe the X-Men were between books at this point. It’s probably a good thing. This wasn’t a very good showing for them.

Wasn’t there a Power Rangers villain that was all eyes?

Magneto: Now that I have striped Angel naked, I have his powers! Of wings!

The Avengers: Magneto controls one of the most powerful forces in the universe! We need Daredevil!

You'd think Magneto would use that "controlling the iron in your blood" trick more often, considering how ridiculously effective it was here.

But you left out the best/worst scene: Magneto forcing the mind-controlled Scarlet Witch to do a sexy dance for him. Creepy enough at the time, exponentially worse in retrospect.

And apparently after knocking Angel out Magneto just left him lying around, at which point the Secret Empire abducted him for their own, sinister ends. (Arroo!)

Namely, using his brainpower as fuel for a device to help them conquer the United States.
Talkin' about backing the wrong horse.

Swordsman returns, and he brings his girlfriend with him.
