People really seem to have it in for Avengers Island. It's the Lava Men here and in a couple of issues' time it will be Doctor Doom.

The Lava Men merge together to form a lava wall.

Wendell. You are supposed to be smarter than this. Put a bubble around everyone that's slightly smaller than the big lava ball. Absorb the heart. You're way more than flying and energy blasts.

This is a weird period for the book in general, with it's whole "no fixed line up, call on people as needed" approach.
