Whilst acknowledging that his garb was sometimes genderqueer, and Ncuti Gatwa is a magnificent clothes-horse, as a fellow Scot, I have to point out Fifteen only wore a kilt in "The Church on Ruby Road" when we saw him dancing at the club. (Maybe one other time?)

The denim with pinstripes number he was wearing for most of The Reality War was many things, but it was definitely not a kilt, nor even a utility kilt.

If anything I'd have to say it was some variety of pinafore.

For starters he was wearing trousers under it, which you can't do with a kilt

And a kilt ends at the waist, it doesn't extend up the body and have shoulder straps.

Stylish? Yes, absolutely

A kilt? no.
