I'm not going to lie, I think that would destroy my interest in the character, unless they come up with something new and special.
I find him so, so, SO much more interesting as a repentant ex-villain who's trying to -- and may never -- make up for the things he's done.
He makes Peter more interesting, too. Pete's usually shouldering a guilt complex big enough to make Atlas blush, but now he has to put that aside on occasion to help Norman.
