I mean, I have always liked the theory Scott is actually the one destined to end Darkseid because the treaty kid swap was truly making Scott Darkseid's son.

I appreciate Alfred's awkwardness in the face of a super-human feat - I enjoy Bat-characters and their existence in a shared universe, but it is nice when DC narratives occasionally acknowledge that there are things bigger than Bat-characters.

Honestly, with how much glazing the vampires got I was half-expecting them to go conquer the universe Sins of Sinister-style. Though let’s not forget this story hinged almost entirely on Bat characters as both the primary antagonists that caused this mess and the protagonists saving the day.

So after all of that, they just had to use Supergirl and Green Alfred to move the Earth and let the Sun kill the vampires.

This definitely feels like a "The end... FOR NOW" with the threat of returning sooner or later.
