Oh, it's quite simple. See, at some point in the future the Collector's alien tech either splits Rogue into two people or creates a second Rogue - the captions say it's both, only one of whom is a flying brick.

Meanwhile, five years in the future, Storm has seemingly gone insane and started destroying the world, so non-flying brick Rogue leads some mutants riding rhino aliens with turrets on their backs to go kill Storm. Also, Storm has a Fortress of Solitude in the Sahara protected by giant robots. They get to Storm, but it turns out Storm is possessed by a demon, Temu Spiral murders the other mutants for no explained reason, and non-flying brick Rogue permanently absorbs Storm's powers.

Meanwhile, ten years in the future (though the captions technically say it's 15 years in the future), Storm is searching for non-flying brick Rogue by riding a hippo, casting magic spells, and murdering Deep Ones. Gambit is also looking for non-flying brick Rogue, because he decided flying brick Rogue was his only wife, but she's a giant statue now, so he goes to ask Storm, because he somehow knows where Storm is, to ask her where non-flying brick Rogue is, which Storm doesn't know.

What could possibly be convoluted there?

This is actually way less convoluted than the regular Storm series, I swear to god.

Though that might explain why he pours it on his own head. I'm no expert, but I don't that's usually how it's done.

And his sound effect was 'pour'. Which is not only the action he's taking, but is French for 'for'. IT WORKS ON MULTIPLE LEVELS

How is "listening" a sound effect? You don't make ANY noise when you're listening. Is it translating silence now? No wonder everyone is insane. They just hear everything all the time. "Breathe in.
