Before the fusion. Joker had a device dematerializer that he stolen from an old batman villain called Dr. X. Which allowed him to become intangible and phase through things and people.

So now of course the Lex/Joker fusion will have that ability.

Everytime I see some shit like the last panel I am reminded that Batman got turned into a tree the very first adventure Superman invited him to.

There's a lot of Silver Age references in this comic, but Waid bringing back the Ha-Ha-Hacienda is just peak.

Really like how this book emphasizes that Clark and Bruce are friends friends, not just work friends, with stuff like the football game in the beginning of this issue.
