From what I understand the kontestant in the kombat choose the incarnations they assume for the fight. Why Lobo would choose to appear as Prettyboy here though...

Yeah. It never explain why lobo choose his DC New 52 incarnation for round 2. Maybe he wanted to change it up a little?

Yeah, this whole thing was a foregone conclusion as soon as it was Lobo vs Wonder Woman. In no universe was DC ever going to have her lose to him. As a long time fan of The Main Man, I don't even think he comes off particularly well here.
