Round Two:

Guy uses his Red lantern incarnation to fight and Jay uses his Kingdom come incarnation.






Round Three:

The fight takes place on planet Vuldarians. Guy uses his Vuldarians warrior incarnation to fight Jay. They decides not to take another incarnation. Just fight normal.

Nasty first round KO - reminded of the bit Waid scripted where Wally notices Doctor Alchemy's standing out in the open, just waiting.. and then notices that the Doctor's surrounded himself with a diamond-filament wire barrier.

How many of these are going to end with the loser wishing the winner good luck? I haven't done a survey, but it feels like this is happening a lot.

I'm not particularly interested in Guy's "Vuldarian heritage," which always feels like the whitest guy you know suddenly claiming he's one-sixteenth Cherokee to score some liberal cred. But I have been waiting for SOMEBODY to introduce the 105-year-old Garrick to this concept called "retirement," so Guy wins this one for me.
