It’s kind of funny how this comic seems to be pissing off both sides of the political aisle. I’ve seen rightwingers attacking it and saying JMS hates America because it doesn’t shy away from criticizing the founding fathers and people on the left are saying it’s in poor taste to celebrate the founding period given the current administration.

Reminds me a bit of Oliver Stone’s W film about George W. Bush. It was very critical of Bush’s presidency but was still sympathetic to him as a person so liberals and conservatives hated it.

(I don’t have a strong opinion either way, it seems fairly by the numbers but it’s inoffensive imo.)
