Well, they've had John Jones for years, as well as Green Arrow, Black Canary, Cyborg and Impulse.

Around the time they decided to cameo the Flash (which one is uncertain as he used Barry Allen and Wally West as aliases), Zatanna, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Cyborg, Aquaman, the Legion of frikking Superheroes, Supergirl, the Martian Manhunter etc. etc.

I think that they might be having Etrigan soon as well, though I'm not certain.

Didio certainly thinks so. Besides this is written by Geoff Johns who did the Legion intro episode last year (which was actually pretty good), chances are that this will actually be pretty good, he is not an official writer just doing guest-spots here and there. The guy who is doing Batgirl also did a couple of eps and managed to be a fan-favorite among the fandom.

I stopped watching last season, the old producers left and when the new guys came in, it looked like we were actually getting some development but then they somehow managed to be even worse than the old ones.

Ah, "Smallville". It sucks on its own (even though I watch it quite religiously), but then, whenever they start drawing on wider elements of the DCU, it gets awesome.

Look at the Legion ep, or the ep they introed the JLA (even if they kinda disbanded and Green Arrow's since returned to Metropolis).

If there's going to be a JSA ep, then I'm onboard for *that*.

In light of this trailer, I wonder if there's more heroes that Shanks just cleverly avoided mentioning or if they're just flashbacks or people who die immidetly (could be a good way to kick an episode off) or the big villain (someone who has history with JSA, but someone Shanks had never heard of before). Or maybe Shanks got people confused, as seeing the future and wearing a helmet is more of a Sandman thing than a Dr Fate thing.

PS. That Green Lantern ring is huge.
