The fourth story from the VOICES IN THE DARK anthology.

Two boys sneak into a haunted mansion theme park attraction that they have good reason to believe is actually haunted. With a concept like that, this is probably the story I should've posted for Halloween.

- but I really should mention that this one is certainly not for the squeamish, and certainly the most disturbing story yet from this anthology. Anybody who got used to the more restrained Ito of the last couple of updates should be warned that he is back in foul form here.

Okay, seriously, if you go into a fun house run by THAT Lon Chaney looking mother fucker, you deserve whatever you get.

Okay, having read this thing, I can say I love the end. Lon chaney guy looks less horrified at being dragged off by the ten foot tall cannibal monster than dissapointed, like he's totally whipped.

"Whats all this about letting our son eat police men, you know how fatty police officers are."

"Yes dear."

"And you've been letting him hang around that brother of yours. You know I don't like him."

"Sorry dear."

I totally lost it at the nail-in-the-butt moment. :D One thing though, if Nailmouth was with the Tall Woman long enough for her to have a kid and all, why did he run away from her? It's not like she suddenly turned monstrous. But like another poster said, his face at getting caught was one of a dejected spouse rather than mortal horror. Loved it.
