I dunno, I don't think this is THAT bad. I mean, Raven and Gar have been friends and teammates for years, and gone through hell together - it makes sense that she'd take him watching her sleep in a fairly philosophical manner. (I will agree, though, that the rest is pretty badly written - anyone who says 'so painful' when he's in pain is not of this Earth.)
