Eh. Luke ends the conversation with "of course you're angry - she's pulling away from your friendship too", allowing the whole thing to be read quite straightforwardly as typical best-friend/boyfriend jealousy. There's nothing really threatening to a heteronormative take on her there, Luke's direct reference to them as best friends is an easy out.

Vampire!Misty refusing to bite Colleen is about as close as we ever get, I think. I really need to post that story...
