man everytime I think i've remembered every retcon i hate, i get reminded of another one...

yeah i hated the Sam Lane retcon as well. And the "Lex lived in Smallville as a kid!!!" retcon. With. A. Passion. Plus a few minor retcons in Superman: Secret Origin.
