One thing I never understood (from the fall out) is how many people who were not directly involved in the mind-wiping know about it now - we know J'onn, Wally and Wonder Woman (though apparently Superman knew but looked the other way). Nightwing has never brought it up even after he joined Hal Jordan in the Justice League. Oracle (aka former Batgirl) is BFF with Black Canary (one of the conspirators) and never brought it up about what happened to Batman. No other heroes than Batman (even within the Bat-Crew) ever seems to have a problem with Zatanna, who original mind-wipe was the catalyst (according to revisionist DC history) for the paranoiac Bat-jerk who kept files on everyone. Even Alfred - who did know - didn't treat Zee differently. Nor did Supes or WW (once she found about it). Considering how much everyone claims to have loved Sue, and how they ALL complain how Batman acts like a jerk and distrustful, one would think they would have some bones to pick with their "friends". But no, apparently, only Batman gets to have issues with the conspirators (who covered it up and lied about it for years).
The weird thing about Identity Crisis is that DC wants to still claim its this huge even in both company history and current continuity and yet doesn't face the ramifications of it. Heck, Barry was part of it and now that he's back (and in fact Barry voted FOR the mindwipes) he's never brought it up either. I really don't see how other heroes (especially those closest to Batman) don't have "issues" at least with those who were involved with helping to turn Bruce into an obsessed jerk who took it on his loved ones.

Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
