1st and most importantly all of this comes from various pages compiled over at CosmicBookNews as they report on the news.

First up: ONSLAUGHT.

Last time, it took the whole of the X-men, core Marvel 616 heroes and Franklin Richard's reality warping powers to exile Onslaught to a pocket dimension (thought the X-men thought they had destroyed their colleagues in the process). But it was only a ring-out. What will it take to beat him?

For legality, one of the big feats for Onslaught.

I'm going to attempt to make a serious go at this question and chalk it up to his personality. We revile Liefeld for his artwork, but everyone I've ever seen talk about Liefeld calls him extremely energetic, dedicated, and really excited about his work.

That doesn't mean he should keep getting work, but I can see why you would want someone like that around, if only to boost morale of workers by having someone pop in and liven things up.

"but everyone I've ever seen talk about Liefeld calls him extremely energetic, dedicated, and really excited about his work."

Except when it came to the infamous Death Mate crossover. Where after a year of delays his Valiant colaborlator had to fly out to his house and force him to do his damn job and draw his pages of the issue.

I don't hate the guy..Not at all. I Just think his art is terrible and with a TON of quality artists running around during all times of the day I just don't understand how he manages to keep snagging all those high profile books.

I stopped reading Marvel for years because of Onslaught, well more like Heroes Reborn. I was reading Fantastic Four and Fantastic Force (anyone remember that one?) Then they deaged Franklin back to a kid and rebooted the four... I took refuge in DC and didn't go back for years.

The only good thing to come out of Onslaught was the original Thunderbolts run.

Nope. Can't find it. I can't find a single damn to give Marvel about this.

Knowing Marvel these days, they'll turn Onslaught into a triumvirate by adding Deadpool. He's already got the text bubbles.

Yeah, ripping the gem out of Cain's chest when it was never there is one humongous feat. What? Did the writer think he ate the thing?

Besides, Onslaught fails at internal logic. He just got through saying that Juggernaut is invulnerable when the gem is bonded to him, and then proceeds to rip through his armor (invulnerable), flesh (invulnerable) and maybe even his forcefield (invulnerable). Which, by his own admission, he can't do.

Argh!

Not really, he says that as long as it's bonded to Juggy, that Juggy is invulnerable, that doesn't mean the Ruby can't be severed from him. How he's choosing to sever it is another matter, and considering Onslaught has got Charles Xaviers psi-powers, and Juggy is NOT immune to psi-powers when he's not got his helmet on...

But, by this depiction of it, the ruby is inside the invulnerable flesh/armor of Juggernaut. And while he's not immune to telepathy when the helmet and skullcap are off psi-powers have never physically affected him, in such a way that'd affect his invulnerability, even on those occasions (sure, Jean can levitate him, with or without the helmet off, but she can't teek slice him through the armor even if he doesn't have the helmet).

No, but a powerful psi, with no concern over possibly damaging Cain's mind permanently (as Charles would have done normally), could FORCE Cain to reject his own mental links to the Ruby, whether he wanted to or not.

Karla Sofen managed to get the first Moonstone to reject the moonstone that empowered him, which she promptly scooped up, absorbed into herself and became the NEW Moonstone.

Well, considering the concept of Epic Mickey... not that I don't like that idea, but it feels pretentious when it's the House of Mouse actually doing it, instead of it being some kind of smart parody of Mickey.
