Awesome New Female Characters: MISS MARTIAN!

Alright so I was thinking of who to make a post about. benicio127 made a Mia post, who I did think of making one about, but I don't want to hog all the Mia love. xD So I thought one of my other favorites Miss Martian!

You can't not like her.



M'gann M'rozz was created in 2006 by Geoff Johns, her first apperance was in Teen Titans 37. M'gann is a White Martian who was sent by a Rocket into the Vega System to escape the civil war between White and Green Martians, and eventually came to Earth. She joined the Teen Titans but quit after her roommate Rose Wilson, hurt her feelings by calling her horrible names, this was of course because M'gann threw a pie in Rose's face because she thought humans thought that stuff was funny.

Anyway, she joined the Titans again lots of stuff happened blah blah blah. When the Titans of Tomorrow appeared apparently M'gann had gone back to her White Martian roots, and instead of disappearing like the rest of the future Titans her future self hid away in M'gann's mind.

Since then M'gann helped defeat the Dark Side Club and the Terror Titans. She quit the Teen Titans and is now in Brightest Day with J'onn and I'm interested to see where that is going to go...

Also she will be in the Young Justice cartoon which is really probably one of the biggest reasons I'm actually going to watch it. :D

I think it's just that she's made her peace with it, and decided that two wrongs don't make a right, and that going off on a bloody rampage won't bring her parents back. She doesn't LIKE the fact that her parents were murdered, but she's not going to flip out over it, either.

Like if you wanna make a non-angsty character, I think you just like... don't have the government brutally torture and murder their parents. You don't like, go ahead and have the government brutally torture and murder their parents, and then have them go "okay I'm not gonna do anything or worry about this, just gonna be over here thinking about puppies!"

That's just... messed up.

Like TBH evil-Megs comes across as kinda the less-crazy one, there.

Well, probably she DID flip out over it at the time - I mean, she's clearly not HAPPY about it - but she's just decided that the path of revenge is not for her, and that she shouldn't condemn humanity in general for what one very small part of it did to her. 'The best revenge is living well', as they say.
