Post your favorite fanart!
Post fanart, recs and links to your favorite artists, or just whatever you really like! The only requirement is you have to be able to credit the artist, and provide a link if available. If you can't source it, please don't post it. Everything else is free game, fans!
And make sure to keep NSFW art behind a link with a warning.
And of course, your own fanart is welcome, too!

But Fan-thing Thursday isn't just about fanart, post links to your fanfic or fanvids, or rec your favorites! It's all about fan-thing fun. Though a reminder that Dreamwidth doesn't support embedded videos, so you'll have to just post a link.

And don't forget, this is the last day for December's Fan-Thing Prompt Thing, so post prompts, fill prompts, and let's have the best fan-times we can! Feel free to post any filled prompts here or at our sister comm!

Northstar and Anole by Autumn-Sacura. This is probably the only time I will ever commission Victor’s asymmetrical design (though I do like his monster-arm better when contrasted against his old Academy X look).

I figured since canon is unlikely to ever offer up a scene of Victor apologizing to Northstar, I might as well take matters into my own hands. I’m sure Victor’s planned apology was heartfelt and regretful…and utterly ruined before he ever opened his mouth due to his taking Santo’s advice on what would be an appropriate token with which to display his sincerity. Mr. Beaubier’s gay and Canadian, right? What better way to apologize than with porn and poutine? Pretty sure the conversation so far has included Northstar really not wanting to know where or how Victor got any of that, and agreeing to accept Victor’s apology if he will please, please promise not to listen to any advice Monsieur Vaccarro offers on any subject ever.

Man, I remember Autumn-Sacura from when she was just starting out in a forum I visit. Her art was already pretty good then, but she got even better. I might need to commission her for something.

Man, I've been waiting to share this find for a while.

Full-size image is here. Because I hate Flickr sometimes.

I think Aquaman's my favourite here.

That was from Warren Ellis' Remake/Remodel thing, in which he challenges artists to design various ridiculous character concepts. Before that he had them going with "Steampunk Batman"...

Somehow, weirdly, makes it worse.

Black socks would make it even worse.

I guess we dodged the bullet there.

I can see what all the other band members are, but what does Aquaman do? Beer-drinking groupie?

Pointless hanger-on that still manages to be considered part of the group. They were all over in the 70's and 80's.

Hmm. Can't figure out how to embed art, so I'll share some fan art I found on DA. The anatomy's a bit dodgy but I like the redesigns.

Hope you all enjoy!
