I always thought of it as being sort of weird and cynical - but then, I haven't read much of it.

It's kind of a mixed bag. Some parts of it are extremely cynical, others (like the demon girl who is redeemed by love, becomes a kind person and brings hope to the souls in Hell) are extremely idealistic.

Well, I don't think it'll ever be one I read regularly - it's just not really my sort of thing - but there are certainly some strips from it that I've read and enjoyed.

"I cot a mouf" made me slightly wibble...I had a cat that did the same thing. She would earnestly approach with a half-dead mouse in her mouth and drop it on the ground in front of me. Apparently it's a sign of affection.
