Funnily enough, this is actually the first year when Wonderita didn't sigh "Tricked by leprechauns again." But the absolute best part is the follow-up the creator posted a few days after this comic went up:

I got some emails that said the current page's time travel didn't work but IT TOTALLY DOES so I'm including this addendum to prove it. Because if there's something we hold dear here at The Non-Adventures of Wonderella, it's continuity.

The line where she tells Tweedledee (or is it Tweedledum?) "When was the last time that you touched a woman that didn't involve getting tattooed on a Suicide Girl?" was pretty brilliant. (Now I'm wondering if that's based on an actual SG tattoo.)

I think the argument was that they never got free in the first place so how could a future Wonderella exist at all.

Which...kinda still doesn't explain the last one, but basically they kept this...'time exception'...stable by still having Wonderella at least saving her 'stuck with Aztecs' selves.

It's kinda of a manufactured time loop that shouldn't exist in the first place.
