Reminder for Nominations!

Just wanted to remind everybody that nominations are still open here!

I'm considering getting rid of the requirement of at least four people seconding a nomination. As of right now only six nominations would be valid for the entire contest and that just isn't good.

However even getting rid of that rule there are several categories with only one nomination:
Most Creative Use of Powers
Hell Yeah-Moment of The Year - For teen and adult comics
Best Reveal
Best Graphic Novel - Self contained story
Best Title Resurrection
Most Improvement shown by an Artist or Writer
A Life Less Ordinary – Most Positive portrayal of LGBTQ
Most Positive portrayal of non-majority ethnicity and culture
Most Positive portrayal of the differently abled -both physically and mentally
Writer Who Made It Work – Made the best of a forced situation
Best "Foreign" Book -Euro/Asian comic

These don't have any nominations:
Most Unexpected Plot Twist - SPOILER ALERT
Worst Graphic Novel - Self contained story
Most Promising New Creator
Best Comic About Real Life

Nominations will end on March 24th. Voting will begin on March 25th. Make you nominations count!

Also make sure your nominations were published between March 16, 2010 and March 24, 2011.

Most Positive portrayal of the differently abled -both physically and mentally Has Misty Knight in Heroes for Hire been nominated in this category yet? If not, she should be.

Nope the only nomination for that category so far has been Oracle in Birds of Prey.

( I would;ve put Max appearing but that was 09. I had to go back and check and see which issues were 10 and which were09. Feel free to ignore any I got wrong.)

I got nothing on unexpected plot twists. What does that say about the comic writers?

Bruce Wayne: the road home is sort of spread across several issues of other comics so I don't think it counts. As for the Flash the first five parts of that story was published before March 16, 2010.

As far as plot twists go I think part of the problem is the medium. Between solicits giving away what's going to happen months ahead and the fact that we know certain characters aren't going to stay dead it's really hard to surprise us.
