Yes I should imagine Tony knows that full well, but someone threatening a woman like that (Hell, threatening anyone like that) my sympathy for the pain is pretty much wiped out.

Within context, Doc Ock was particularly malevolent this series. He completely destroyed iron man's armour, reduced him to alcoholism again, and yes was about to kill that woman.

I just find it really amusing that this is the last page of the comic, it really seems like Iron Man stopped Doc Ock.... permanently.

Why Tony doesn't add another four manipulator arms to the Iron Man armor, with repulsors, I don't know...but then, there's a lot of tech he seems to leave out that would be really useful.

Huh. Doc Ock looks a mite more... portly than usual here. It may just be the art, as it seems Tony is rescuing someone with a melting face in that first little panel/bubble thing.

Depending on the artist, doc's usually packing a few pounds. It's something Spidey often makes fun of him for.

y'know I actually prefer Doc Ock portly. He's a better villain that way, someone unassuming yet unmistakably deadly.

Agreed. It's the same reason why I didn't really like him being German in the 90s cartoon. I mean, it's too easy, a malevolent German. Much cooler when the stone-cold bastard was born in Schenectady, NY. :>
