Yeah...Millar gets off on using that word as a female codename. It was also the name of Peter Parker's long-lost granddaughter in 'Old Man Logan' - she called herself "Spider-Bitch" and had a costume incorporating Spidey's eyes over her breasts.

He's a dirty little Scot.

I don't know--I think the worst out of those is Battle Guy. At least "Night Bitch" has the slight possibility of being said with fear, but Battle Guy's so vague and bland that NO ONE will remember that.

Eh, the design is basically ripped off from classic Spidey villain the Black Tarantula. He looks like Miguel after starving himself for half a year.

Also, I might have just mis-read my Biology textbooks, but isn't one of the definite, empirical features that classify a creature as an 'insect' the fact that it has SIX legs, not EIGHT?

Either an artist screw-up (highly illogical), or yet another one of these clowns is being made to look pathetic just in the act of trying.

A supposed cop who dresses up so he can do all the stuff he can't in his "day job" sets off my alarm bells, and I'm not Mark "and I'll have the SHIELD guy randomly whack a child in the face with a rifle butt because he was there" Millar.

Hate to say it, but between this issue and the whole run of Superior, I've actually started to like Millar again.

I know it'll all end in rape, but for now, it's actually pretty fun.

I enjoy Superior a whole lot,
but for some reason, Kick Ass comes off so much more assholish to me. Maybe it's just me, but even if I enjoyed the movie, Kick Ass itself does little to appeal.

Kick-Ass 2 is actually a lot better than the first one, judging from the one issue of Kick-Ass 2 that I've read. It's a lot less mean spirited than the first series.

How could I have ever doubted his genius? Did I really think that he was just a cynical hack that recycled tired old tropes (including his own work) to a lowest-common-denominator audience? You know what I actually liked about the first one? Besides the fact that it was funny in the absurd way, it showed that (even if it wasn't much without ridiculous help) Super-Heroing around can at least lead to some success, even if it is only stopping a guy from getting beaten up. You show me that little success without something absenly horrible, and I'll buy this book, Millar.
