The deathmatch wheel has been spun and someone was bored, I mean bold enough to make a comic out of it.
Comic Book Resources has the article announcing Hulk vs. Dracula.
Oh yeah, SPOILERS!!!
"The Hulk goes on a rampage - with all the world in turmoil and the heroes too busy - it's up to Dracula and his vampire nation to stop the rampaging monster."

Can someone comment for me? I've head-desked so hard I can't peal my face from the artificial wood.
At least the art should be interesting to look at.

Date: 2011-04-05 08:25 pm (UTC)" The Red Skull's daughter, heir to his evil! The Hulk, rampaging man and monster! The Juggernaut, whom nothing can stop! And.. the Grey Gargoyle, and quite possibly the Absorbing Man. Why the hell not? "
In-universe, it probably makes enough sense, but on a meta level it's a bit odd.

Date: 2011-04-05 08:44 pm (UTC)The worthy are shaping up to be very impressive, choice wise. Except the Gargoyle, hes a little out of place. Strong, yeah, but not really on the level of the rest of them.

Date: 2011-04-06 11:13 am (UTC)I bring up the whole dreary story, of course, because one of the fake tie-in titles for "Skrullocaust" was entitled "Penance vs. Dracula", which would have been very silly and odd. Perhaps this twin fulfilment of prophecy - first, a Skrull-oriented event, then a tie-in which amounts to nothing more than someone fighting Dracula - is a spelling of doom for the current direction at Marvel.
One can only hope.
