Awesome. I'm only upset that it's squaresoft Dracula and not proper Gene Colan classic Dracula. But I'll take it.

I love the Worthy revealed so far.

In-universe, it probably makes enough sense, but on a meta level it's a bit odd.

Grey Gargoyle is certainly an oddity, but Absorbing Man has near limitless potential, since he can absorb the cosmic properties any cosmic item.

He absorbed the properties of Quasar quantum-bands one time... okay he blew up, but he managed it.

Well Grey Gargoyle and Absorbing Man are Thor Villains so I guess it kinda makes sense that they're getting hammers.

Oh god this is going to be so awesome! Honestly, this just looks like fun. Been a while since weve had a nice huge throwdown just for fun in the MU, and Dracula and Hulk are just enough a ridiculous match to work.

The worthy are shaping up to be very impressive, choice wise. Except the Gargoyle, hes a little out of place. Strong, yeah, but not really on the level of the rest of them.

I agree 100 percent. The Worthy are looking awesome, except the out of place Gargoyle, and awesome Absorbing Manwho already has his own more than effective weapon.

Hulk and Juggs are easily my favorites so far.

I can remember just after Civil War, some tasteless joker on Wikipedia decided the next event would be called "Skrullocaust", in which everyone you hated in CW turned out to be Skrulls and were hunted down and exterminated by the originals. Not too far off from "Secret Invasion", in fact...it did seem slightly plausible at the time, given that it was claimed Millar would be writing it, and it had a fake statement from Joe Q about one of the Avengers going 'full-on Dachau'.

I bring up the whole dreary story, of course, because one of the fake tie-in titles for "Skrullocaust" was entitled "Penance vs. Dracula", which would have been very silly and odd. Perhaps this twin fulfilment of prophecy - first, a Skrull-oriented event, then a tie-in which amounts to nothing more than someone fighting Dracula - is a spelling of doom for the current direction at Marvel.

One can only hope.

IKR? Cornell's Dracula was the nearest character we have to the classic pre-RTD series Master, and now he's been traded in for a character worse-designed than the John Simm Master. It makes me sick.

How is that art of Hulk vs. Dracula? It looks like, dunno... an elf with fangs and an orc duking it out? I'm enjoying the coloring, but questioning the design.

Still not seeing it, terribly sorry. Both this version of Dracula and Nosferatu have pointy ears, yes. But Nosferatu has those funky-looking squirrel insisor fangs, whereas the ones pictured are clearly canines and accompanied by a full mouth of other teeth. Also, freaking elf hair and sparkly dangling earrings made with disks of either silver of mother of pearl (which I now really want, omg) wtf. I'm not saying it's a bad look in and of itself (because it's not, it's very pretty), just that it doesn't exactly scream "Dracula" to me (unless it's a D&D version of Dracula or something, I guess? not a Marvel comic one so much, I think). Thanks anyways.
