Retiring from active mod duty

Friends, we have come together today-- hey, quiet in the back!



Thank you. We have come together today for a mod announcement. The last mod announcement that this mouse will make for quite some time.

It is with a heavy heart, that I announce my retirement from active mod duty. It has been the best of times, the worst of times, and even--at times--the blurst of times. I will forever treasure the memories--the memes, manips, TOSings and sweet sweet troll-hammer baninations--but alas, I can no longer inflict upon you my tenderest mercies. (Seriously, those were my tender mercies). I will, however, remain a reserve mod, at the ready with erratic punctuation and throat punches, should the need arise. (Basically I've become an Elder Mod, but with less tentacles--maybe more? The transformation is not yet complete. I'll keep you updated).

What this means for you

Not much, really, so thanks for reading this far! But suffice it to say that I will no longer be issuing disciplinary notes, or participating in the day to day management of the communities. Instead I will be looming in the shadows, posting Vampirella pictures, and generally being creepy. If you have a question or concern about the community, please get in touch with our fabulous mod team.

So goodbye. Kind of. Good night (and good luck).

I'm glad you stuck around as mod for so long, schmevil. I don't believe you're as replaceable as you might otherwise think; the community will be much less without your clear voice helping to give it direction.
