I like Aaron. I liked his Ghost Rider stuff, I liked his Wolverine: Weapon X (is that still going?), and from what I've seen of Wolverine/Spider-man that looks pretty good.
I just love the absolutely bonkers energy he puts into his stuff.

I think Wolverine: Weapon X ended when they started up the title that is just called Wolverine now. It's also written by Aaron and I have actually enjoyed it quite a bit so far.

Wolverine/Spider-Man was great for the first three issues and then all the random plot threads sort of gradually imploded on themselves with bonus racist stereotyping thrown in. I really, really, really wanted to love it because I love Logan+Peter team-ups, but ... yeah.

Well, it could have been Ken Leung. (Why they just didn't call Leung's X3 character 'Quill,' I don't know.)

Still, just because he has purple hair, an omega sign on his shirt and some level of psychic ability doesn't mean it's Quinten Quire. After all, it took a while for us to realize the blonde teenaged girl in the Spoiler costume was Stephanie Brown. In comics, sometimes you need "show, don't tell" and sometimes you need "show *and* tell.

Bleeding Cool leaked that it was Quinten Quire coming back. Jason Aaron keeps talking about a character from Morrison's run that was coming back and was gonna make a big splash that starts off the event.

So...yay. Eager to see what Aaron does with him.

I believe Quentin never was in White Hot Room... he did indeed tap into the Phoenix Force, or something like that. But in the end he went back to a psychic comatose form that looks like pure energy, which meant back to one of Beast's contaniers (LOL, he seems to have lots of these around: Quentin, Cassandra Nova Xavier, No-Girl...)

I am actually looking forward to this event. I reeeeeeeally want to see Logan (or anyone, really) just kick the crap out of Scott. Over the past few years I have gotten so tired of Scott and his douchebaggery. The writers just keep gushing over him and going on like he is the bestest mutant leader there ever was and he's so much better than that HORRIBLE Xavier was, and yet they have him doing things like creating kill squads(don't even get me started about him including Laura in it), trying to completely separate humans and mutants, not giving a crap that his own brother is stranded out in space somewhere, and a host of other things that have just made his character almost completely unlikable to me. And to top it off, the only person I can remember giving him any real crap about what he is doing was Beast and maybe Logan a few times. I know that at the end of the mini they will probably have Scott being victorious and all, but I'd really like to see him put in his place for just a second. All of this really makes me quite sad, because I actually used to really like Scott as a character. :(

On a happier note, I absolutely love the first page in the preview where Logan is walking down the hall with arrows and ninja stars sticking out of him like it's no big deal.

Huh. Funny, I'd pay good money for a comic where someone kicked the crap out of Woverine (and he stayed kicked). I am SO tired of the Mr. macho uber-Wolverine who can heal anything, is functionally immortal, has super-senses that border on psychic powers, and is shoehorned into every damn comic Marvel puts out at every opportunity.

Yeah, I don't like what they've done with Scott in recent years (starting with breaking up his marriage/killing off Jean Grey AGAIN). But I'll still take him over Mr. Grunt n' Snarl Snickt any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Ugh, anytime someone mentions the name Chris Colfer I have to phisically resist the urge to punch a wall. He's the worst actor ever, and the worst character on television...not to mention one of the worst gay characters on television. (Doesn't help that Ryan Trollphy is a jerk using Kurt as a Mary Sue character) He fits every stereotype in the book...and he sure as hell did not deserve to win that emmy.

K now that I am done ranting....maybe some of Quentin's associates (Tattoo...and the others) will return perhaps? I wonder how this will affect Emma.

I kinda preferred Quentin when he was... well... crap. Making him into some kind of genuinely credible threat ruins the appeal of the character for me. I prefer when he's popping up to be dangerous but also... wank at it, like in the recent story with Martha the Brain.
