Y'know, I think I like that look without the strap'n'crap of the full costume... Just throw in a utility belt and the R symbol and I could learn to like it a lot, alas, we're not going down that road...

Dramatic, if nothing else. Interesting that she now seems to have a transformation effect, does she slam her gauntlets together like Rick Jones/Mar-vell (or indeed, the Masterforce Headmaster Jr.'s ) or might she have some sort of illusion ability in her arsenal now?

And apparently the "Four Robin's in five years" won't actually the case (Sorry, but Steph as Robin is still out of continuity), as Batman and Robin(s) will have been operating covertly in Gotham for some years before Superman becomes the first superhuman to "go public" five years ago.

Though a lot of people seem to think that she's the one causing that damage with her transformation.

I actually think that it is a cool effect. I like quite a bit about the new new new Teen Titans, from what we've seen so far. It's a good direction for Cassie (in a What-if sort of way) and it'll be neat seeing how they swing a flying Robin.

Titans looks interesting, but in one article I read on ign they said superboy would be an enemy of the team(in his own series). I am wondering if the tatooed one in all black is the same SB, that is supposed to get revese engineered.

I'm thinking we're going to have something similar to the Young Justice cartoon, where instead of meeting this isolated clone Superboy for the first time, Tim, Cassie, and Bart are having to deal with a traumatized, possibly mind-controlled Conner.

That is a nie theory, but the thing is this whole superboy going evil plot is something that actually has been hinted at in the recent Superboy issues. Not only with him being part luthor dna,but in thay dream sequence where conner and his friend valentine basically destroy the world. Maybe I am giving them to much credit, but if they really wanted to use that SB goes evil plot in a big way this would be the time.

This is probably the most awesome Cassie's looked in a while, I have to admit, and Tim flying was really cool.

The more I see this, the more I'm looking forward to it. :)

And I still think the reasoning for giving Tim wings is very juvenile. "Oh, he doesn't look cool when he gets carried!".

I'm going to have to make a post about all the mansplaining, derailment, and really rude behavior DC has had towards female fans and their female characters at SDCC. Including, of course, a female fan asking why DC doesn't have more female creators, and Morrison replying "I look great in a dress".

It looks to me like her bracers are making the 'aegis effect' that Wonder Woman's sometimes do. Protective forcefield when the bracers are crossed.

I don't think it's that crazy--as I recall, Lobdell has said that he first wrote his first issue like it could have easily been "Teen Titans #101," but his editors gave him permission to go a little crazy if he wanted. So, maybe he did look at where things were going for Conner and decided to go that route.

Or maybe it was just blind luck.

But seriously, in all honesty The Falcon was the first person I thought of when I saw that wing configuration - it looks a lot like what he uses, especially since it's mostly red.

I call shenanigans on the whole 'nothing's changed' about Conner bit. The hinting about future evil wasn't Conner, but Simon, as revealed in the most recent issue, and how can Conner's series be in continuity if the Kents died before Clark became Superman? Who's Conner living with? Granny Goodness and a Dog of War? (Though, come to think of it, that might be a cool twist.)
