I'm really digging the DCnU Superboy. The take on his character is very Kyle XY, which works well, and the kid is back in tights. Finally. There's even some elements of the original run on Superboy in the new run, what with the heavy science facility feel and the already mounting love triangle. Square. Whatever.

Sure, I'm gonna miss Simon Valentine and Lori Luthor, but this new series is definitely worth a look see.

...I didn't actually read Red Hood and the Outlaws. I get that people are upset about how Starfire was depicted, which is sad because I feel like they coulda had a lot of fun with the concept.

This popped into my head when I was watching Scrubs. Turk was doing his booty dance.

While this would've been better than what we actually got, ANYTHING would have been better! The problem with RH&TO wasn't so much the sexualization (it didn't help, but that wasn't the main problem). The PROBLEM was that NONE of the characters were anything but 2-dimensional AT BEST.

If it had gone in this direction, sexualization aside, I would have enjoyed the heck out of this.

Sorry, but your comic is just implausible. It would mean giving Starfire personality; someone with actual character. She's just fanservice a sex doll for Roy and Jason. Not gonna happen. :|

But really, I wish this is how it would have went. Why did DC not smarten up and just nab you to write the comic for them!? Or just not let that ridiculousness get printed in the first place...!? ;A;

Here is a female character which enjoys sex and has her own sexuality. Instead of being just a sexual toy for the male characters. A bit exaggerated nonetheless, but it doesn't make me feel disgusted like the real comics.

DC, take notes please.

Jumping in with everybody else, you gave Starfire much more characterization and actually MADE ME SMILE with your comic. You now have the job of writing RHATO every month. :D

That comic looks awesome. I would totally buy it. Its far far superior to the dead eyed mess we got.

Okay, if Starfire was behaving more like THAT, RH&tO would've been greatly improved.

If Starfire had that attitude it would be much more bearable.

I still say that's Star... something must have happen to her to make her join Jason in the first place...

Hee, I like your Starfire a lot better than Lobdell's.

I'd totally read a comic that was all about *this* Starfire.

Kory was here! (and here).

This comics seems like it has the potential for much more manservice than the original.

Would manservice be fanservice featuring men, or directed at them? Because men seem to have a wide variety of tastes in their fanservice, so the second doesn't make sense, but fanservice is already theoretically gender neutral as to who its being directed towards (and who it's starring for that matter). Or is manservice just a subcategory of fanservice as opposed to (I suppose) fem(m?(e?))service? (womanservice just seems a little clunky).

I think "manservice" is generally meant as fanservice featuring men. In this case, Roy and/or Jason in skimpy or tight clothing..

You gave Starfire more depth and personality in 4 little panels than DC did in an entire issue.

Well played.
