Not very 'Maxima'-ish (the colors don't pop, while Maxima was extremely bright in the old look), but not a bad design in itself. Could work.

There's something kind of insectoid and alien about this design, from what we can see of it. There might be potential there.

I was just thinking about Maxima the other day.....

Im ambivalent on the change but its really only an issue if you really care about all of the aspects of the "I WANT YOU AS MY MATE SUPERMAN" dynamic.

Still too humanoid for an alien (I dislike the idea that there are any humanoid aliens really, Superman/girl included), but a step in the right direction.

So she gets more cleavage, but we lose the legs and the face takes a hit. I tihnk I'd rather have the legs back.

Definitely a step in the right direction visually, imo. That the woman hunting space for the perfect mate just happened to be be an ultrahot redhead who looked like Angie Everhart on her best day was always a bit weird to me. And again, it's a nice step away from the 'every alien looks human' thing that most of the alien races not associated with the Green Lantern Corps suffered from in the old universe.

She still looks feasibly attractive, she just doesn't look like a badly dressed spacebound underwear model anymore.

So this Maxima wants to mate with Kara? It doesn't seem that that would work all that well. (Though, in a universe where Clark is unattached, Maxima wouldn't work as well as she previously did.)

I like it. It gets boring when ALL the aliens look human, though considering her story it makes sense that she is nonetheless humanoid.
