"Real Life"

I'm a fan of Real Life, a "slice of slightly deranged sort-of-autobiographical life" webcomic, which I've posted samples before.

Sure, it may not be ground-breaking in tone, it uses a repetitive and simple art style (though that sort of thing rarely bothers me), but it makes me smile, and I do find myself having a more than occasional "Yup, I can be that geeky too" moments.

Greg is the main character, a fictionalsed version of the author, and his wife Lis, new baby daughter Harper, and their friends who include Tony (who is to Bond villains what Mycroft was to Sherlock) and Dave, who is sort of Tony's sidekick.





I'm torn between pitying how this kid will grow up, and wanting to get some for the next nephew or niece to show up!



And you KNOW Disney would market these if there was the slightest chance they'd get away with it!




I'm a lifelong teetotaller and even I can see how this could appeal.



Then again, maybe I'll stick to the 7-Up

I've been following this one for a long time, though I usually only get to check on weekends these days...

That comic-- or at least the blog attached-- is also what made me aware of Dave and Buster's. Lucky for me there's one relatively close by!

And now I'm debating if I have enough rum left to actually make rummi bears, or if I'll need to buy more when I get the gummis. Because I'm pretty sure it won't work with the handful of jelly beans I have lying around due to the sugar coating, and I've only got like a shot or two of rum left because the bottle has been in my kitchen for months. Hm...

Also, the Star Trek diapers are cute.
