Date: 2011-12-22 06:55 pm (UTC)You know, the reason I liked the previous Blue Beetle comic was because it DIDN'T have this grimdark angsty nonsense in it. It was lighthearted, optimistic fun, and that made it a beautiful oddity in the sea of GRR ARGH BLARGLE GRIMDARK stuff lining the shelves.
