And that's it. I just laughed. Sure, it's cheesy, but I liked it. Anyway. Old worker of the Pride has been the big bad for this series (I dunno, I'm only here for the Runaways). He snaps and decides he's tired of being an idol for the moment and uses his vast powers just to crush the pest Daken (who has his powers gone for the moment) with his power.
Now that's a Runways line. 
Oh hey, New Leap Frog too! That's nice . . . Where? Bah, whatever. At least we got the Frog back.

Date: 2011-12-23 11:40 pm (UTC)The only problem with Whedon's run was that it tried to do too much in only six issues - it wasn't as good as BKV, but it was still a decent story in it's own right.
Moore, on the other hand, put out two surprisingly uninteresting story lines - one of which should have been good, but thanks to under-developed villains, a lame Dues Ex Machina inspired conflict, and a predictable ending, really wasn't - and turned the kids into shallow archetypes of themselves, not to mention turning new character Klara into a boring Molly clone.
