He plans on trying to manipulate the events on going for an as yet unknown purpose, that revolves around his daughter - and he seems willing to sacrifice anything for it, including half or all of his classmates, or perhaps not. It is not entirely clear.

I love that we have this badass Puerto Rican heroine in this book. Not a lot of PR heroes and AA gives us 2(Ava and Anya/Spider-Girl).

Date: 2012-01-06 06:13 pm (UTC)The Shi'Ar sent Kid Gladiator to Earth to attend the Jean Grey school as punishment for destroying a city or something, and Warbird came with him as his personal protector.
She hasn't done much yet, but I guess that's why she's going to be in Astonishing.
And she's called Warbird because the Shi'Ar people are descended from birds, like Deathbird.
