DUDE IN DISTRESS WEEK is going swimmingly, with a lot of contributions from various posters and even multiples from some! I am enjoying it thoroughly and I am sure you are too. But let's not rest on our laurels just yet.

My First.. was a suggested theme from stubbleupdate that got a lot of positivity in the original voting thread. We didn't go with it for this first week because it needed prep time, but let's set a date right now: first week of March. Who's in? Everybody? Great!

12-18 Feb is still Cute Romance Week! Start putting your bookmarks in!

Finally, we're talking about theme weeks on noscans. A week's worth of themed opinionating and deep thought? Yes please! A couple of tentative suggestions are in the comments, but we need to hear MORE and we need to hear them FROM YOU. Get over there!

Dreamwidth novice here. But is there any way to put a link to a calendar by the links to the tags? Then you can plan ahead for the theme weeks or daily events etc. And everyone can easily see what's coming up.

Might be a little work to set up but then you wouldn't have to work to remind us flighty folk.

Oh. Well we can do a post of calendar of upcoming event any time and then put a link to it from the main page, absolutely. I'm not sure how the layout for scans_daily is handled, code wise, but if it's not too complicated, adding a link there shan't be too difficult. Though we do need to make a calendar before that.

Lol, I did too actually. I had to seriously read take a closer look at the text to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. XD

On an unrelated note, now I'm thinking there needs to be a "big women kicking ass" theme. I miss old DCU Amanda Waller and have a hard time taking the current one seriously. I don't know why, but there was something about the old DCU Waller that made her feel more threatening that the current one lacks. I think it's the fact that she actually looked like a *normal* person, whereas now she looks like everyone else in comics. :(

Hmm. Miscommunication on my part? The suggested theme is my first.., as in a poster presents their first comic, or some other significant comics-related 'First'. Hence needing prep time - got to look things out, do a little personal introduction, etc! Beg pardon.
